Katie - Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Katie has been with 5 Corners Animal Hospital since early 2004.  She is a South Buffalo native and a graduate of Mt Mercy Academy.  Katie received her veterinary technology degree from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY.
She is currently working towards becoming certified in veterinary dentistry and anesthesia.  In Katie's words-"I knew I wanted to take care of animals my whole life.  I saw my first dog, Heidi (a beagle of course), get hit by a car when I was six. From then on, I knew I needed to help animals through medicine".
Katie and her fiance, Adam, share a home in eastern Erie County with their lab, Scout, and four cats-Tiger, Piper, Sam, and Josephine.
Her family lives in the area and includes three sisters and her parents.
In her spare time, Katie likes reading and skiing. She also pet-sits for special animals and likes grooming.

Nicole-Practice Manager and Receptionist:
Nicole has been with 5 Corners almost since the beginning in 2003. She is a graduate of Emerson Vocational High School in Buffalo,NY.  She has worked in a veterinary practice since 1998 and brings many years of experience to her position at 5 Corners Animal Hospital.  Nicole knows most of the clients and patients by name and greets each one with smiles.
Nicole states: "I enjoy working with animals every day, there is nothing more satisfying than knowing how much we are appreciated when we look into an animal's eyes.  I love to see the owners and the patients coming into our clinic.  There is no place else I would rather be than here!"
Nicole lives in Buffalo with her husband Kelly and their two sons, Anthony and Derrick.  Her pets include Idun, an American Staffordshire Terrier; Jake the Ball Python; Pliskin the corn snake; and Lewis, the young cat who has taken over control of the house! Nicole is an avid extreme sports fan including ATV and motorcycle riding, managing and playing on a paintball team, and watching hockey and football.

Brigid - Receptionist and veterinary assistant
Brigid has a dual role at 5 Corners Animal Hospital-she is one of our receptionists and also serves as a veterinary assistant. She has been with us since early 2006.  Brigid is a graduate of Lackawanna High School and graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo NY with an associate degree in veterinary technology.
In her "other life", she teaches dancing and travels throughout the United States as the assistant director of a dance convention and competition company.
She lives with her new husband in South Buffalo with their two dogs, "Tobias", a beagle, and "Bronco", a bassett/chow mix.

Brigid says "My favorite trips as a child were to the zoo or any place where I could get my hands on animals.  I've always known that animals were going to be a part of my life and that I wanted to help or take care of them any way I could."

Lynn-Receptionist
Lynn has been with 5 Corners Animal Hospital since the day we opened our doors on May 19th, 2003. She is a graduate of Hilbert College with an associates degree in Human Services. 
Lynn is also a native western New Yorker!  She currently lives in the Southtowns with her husband, Chuck, and her son Matthew. Ryan,her eldest son, lives in Cheektowaga  Lynn's "fluffy" family includes Dallas and Brandy,her two dogs, and her three cats Smokey, Lucky, and Purrkins. 
Lynn has always had a passion and love for animals since being a small girl .
Lynn  says " I am so happy to come to work every day and be involved in something I am so passionate about."
To relax, Lynn likes to garden, bake and take cooking classes but her favorite relaxation comes from curling up in a chair with a good book.
